WHO IS SAFE FAMILIES CANADA?

Safe Families Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in crisis by providing temporary care for children. Their mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect by offering parents support during difficult times.

WHAT DO THEY DO?

Safe Families Canada keeps families together and prevents the need for more drastic interventions, such as foster care. Safe Families Canada operates through a network of volunteer Host Families, Family Friends, and church communities. Host Families open their homes to care for children temporarily, while Family Friends offer mentorship and emotional support to the parents.
